In parallel with its dense network of footpaths, the Lot has developed a unique network of waymarked bridle paths. This resource is managed by Lot Tourisme in partnership with the
Association de Tourisme Equestre du Lot (ATE Lot), who have energetically promoted a high-quality infrastructure for equestrian tourism within the Lot.
Exploring the Lot on horseback has therefore become a sheer delight with
700 km of bridle paths, augmented by the
600 km of GR paths (long-distance footpaths) also open to riders.
