Saffron at Varaire
  • The GAEC de Pécanot was set up by cousins Patrice BES and Fabien LONJOU. We took over our family's farmland in January 2012 in order to carry on the work and traditions of previous generations. We raise pigs outdoors, we have Aubrac and Salers cattle and we also cultivate saffron. Our farm is in Varaire on the Causse de Limogne. We are following in the tradition of small farm holdings, paying great attention to the environment and to biodiversity.
