Circuit des Deux Crêtes

As its name suggests, the "Two Hillcrest round walk" will take you up on the heights of the Quercy Blanc. Saint Pantaléon, doctor and martyr, lived in Asia Minor in the 3rd C. According to legend, he ressuscitated a child who had been bitten by a viper. This holy healer became the patron saint of the parish, of the church and also gave his name to the miraculous spring which flows at the southern entrance to the village (very fine ensemble of fountain, laundry trough and statue). In the past, many pilgrims came here, especially on the saint's feast day (27th July), the spring being reputed to cure weak, feeble children, especially those who were very slow to stand up for any length of time.
