Eglise Grande

Historical sites and monuments, Church in Bélaye
  • The church architecture is Gothic. It was restored in the 18th century. The walnut altarpiece which is inside the church choir was placed there in 1858. It is a baroque altarpiece, brought back from Spain by the marshal Bessières, duke of Istria, who originally planned to give it to the church of Prayssac.
