  • This large weavers workshop opens on to the street with 2 large Gothic arches and majestic curved mullioned windows (16thC) above. At the back, a tower joins 2 medieval houses originally seperated by a firebreak alley.
    This medieval dwelling is a perfect illustration of the rich history of the old town. A Senechal is a royal administrator. He has inspired the name of the house but probably lived in another house closer to the council chamber.
    Built according to the tastes of the Renaissance revealing trappings of a noble house converted in the 16th and 17th C with a refined spiral staircase, spacious rooms with French-style ceilings and painted fireplaces...
