- For all the family, this walk takes you to explore the rural world and the Bouriane country via the Pech Curet exploration path. Bread ovens, gariottes, cazelles (dry-stone huts) and a dolmen await you. Erected between 6000 and 1500 years BC, dolmens have always fascinated people. 2000 years after they were first built, some of these burial chambers were re-used by the Celts for religious purposes. In early Christian times, they excited so much superstitious belief that priests had many of them destroyed or buried under huge mounds. Nowadays, some people claim that dolmens, built where ley lines cross, are endowed with magnetic powers.
