River bathing

Cool off in the middle of nature

No need to gather on the coast to enjoy natural beaches, our rivers and bodies of water offer you natural beaches...

With its lovely rivers, with their waters that are so irresistible in summer, when the sun heats the limestone of the Causses, the Lot could hardly refuse us the chance to have a swim…

Pioneering water quality control

The Département  has set up Inf’Eau Loisirs, a system which makes it a pioneer in the matter of water quality control. Every day from 15th June to 15th September, a report on the quality of bathing waters is issued and made available to all.

Nothing could be more delightful than diving into the invigorating waters of the Célé, a quiet little river along which some pleasant beaches have been created.

Finish off a ramble with a bathe, splash around with your kids or just sunbathe… do it all with complete confidence, there are numerous bathing spots.

Blue Flag in the Lot

Logo Pavillon Bleu

The Blue Flag promotes municipalities and marinas that permanently pursue a policy of sustainable tourism development.

The label applies not only to bathing places but to the entire municipality. The quality of the bathing water, but also the way in which the municipality manages its waste and treats wastewater are taken into account in obtaining the Blue Flag.

At the end of June 2018, the Montcuq lake has won the first blue flag of the Lot, in June 2020 it is the nautical base of Caïx in Luzech that joined the team.
