In the 14th C, it was one of the richest churches of the diocese of Cahors, but the One hundred Year war & the wars of religion quickened its decline. It has a daring architecture with its choir and triple apses. The large single nave is typical of the gothic style in Southern France

    Its Choir contains a superb altar piece of the 17th C, work of Pierre II Tournié famous sculptor of Gourdon. Its décor, of carved, gilded, silver plated and painted wood, make it a masterpiece of the Baroque style.
