Originally from Basse Normandie, a self-taught painter, Danielle Mary Teyssèdre took the road to the South West, towards the Aveyron, in summer 1969, with canvases, colours and brushes in her luggage…. Since then, she has never stopped seeking how to convey and provoke emotion in her works on canvas or paper. She has lived and worked in Saint Cirq Lapopie in the Lot since 1986, between the river and the causses, light and mists, as though for ever enchanted by the magic...

Since then, she has never stopped seeking how to convey and provoke emotion in her works on canvas or paper. She has lived and worked in Saint Cirq Lapopie in the Lot since 1986, between the river and the causses, light and mists, as though for ever enchanted by the magic of this place. Her studio is open every year, as it has been since 2007, for the whole season between 1st April and All Saints.
