This hike takes you through the woods of Segala to the memory of the mining history of Figeac.
Saint-Perdoux is a small village with a rich history, nestled in the middle of a serre* figeacoise, these deep valleys which tear the schistose base of Ségala in the direction of the Célé. Their slopes are the domain of the forest while the valleys and plateaus are home to grasslands. The commune still has an important agricultural life. But Saint-Perdoux is also, since the end of the 19th century until 1948, a land of coal mines.
