  • This ride, characterised by water and stone, takes you through the heart of the Causse de Limogne. On stony tracks with gentle inclines, you'll explore the authentic Lalbenque and Limogne. You ride alongside dry stone walls, and in and out amongst little "cazelles", small stone huts built as shepherds' shelters. After following the GR65 for a while, it's time to cool off a bit as you go past ponds, laundry troughs and one of the legendary "lacs de St Namphaise" (a pond hacked out of the stone.) This is a round tour, which will please both experienced riders and beginners. Take particular care when crossing the D22 and D55 in Escamps and before taking the GR.
